Apple Pencil 1. Generation Cover

Apple Pencil 1. Generation Cover

My Apple Pencil 1. generation was in need of something new to wear ;-) So I designed a cover for the pen and the cap.Z seam is set to random, cause I didn't like the seam to be visible and I like the bit of texture it creates on the surface.Printed on my Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro, with speed 200mm/sec, I strongly recommend to use a brim (distance 0.4mm for better removal) when printing the pen cover standing up.To test the fitting print with 100%, stop the print after 5mm, and try on the little ring you just created, change x and y in your slicer till it fits. I needed to change x and y to 102.5% while z remaining at 100%.You can print the pen cover in vase mode at about 93% (depends on the filament) for x and y, to get a sleeker cover, unfortunately the cap does not print properly in vase mode.
