Apple Mighty Mouse Replacement Bottom Ring
thingiverse
It's challenging to disassemble the Apple Mighty Mouse's ball without damaging the bottom ring, which is both attached and glued in place. To replace the friction ring, start at the front of the mouse and work your way around to the back, securing it in place as you go. This may require a bit of sanding or shaving to get a proper fit. There are holes near the rear that can be used for gripping, but they didn't seem to make much difference in my case. You can customize your Apple mouse with custom colors using this 3D printed design. It was created using Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/4fq2bL2t0fH
