I liked the original model but needed something taller, stronger and gripped the keyboard better. This modification satisfied all three conditions. Also, cutting out a hole in the back allowed me to fit the power switch so I could place it as wide as possible on the keyboard. Later, however, I learned that placing them inside the rubber feet was better for preventing keyboard flex. Alternatively, you could add a third one in the middle. They hold on pretty well but I've also taken to putting masking tape on them so they don't slide around or fall off at all.
