Apple iPod Classic Click Wheel 6/6.5/7th Gen

This is a 3D cad model of the external shape of the Click Wheel from an iPod Classic 6/6.5/7th gen unit.All features are accurate as to the best of my calipers to measure.Models are provided for the unit laid out flat as well as with the connector folded behind as used normally in the iPod.Folded models are provided for 0.8 and 1.6mm PCB thickness.The iPod uses a 0.8mm PCB but 1.6mm is still common enough that I have made one for it as well.Note that these units are not tolerance amazingly well with the placement of the flex pcb and connector to the circle.Your design should notch the side of the PCB in to allow tolerance in placement.The white plastic parts on the back of the unit are there to press on the buttons on the PCB.More information on this unit, including reverse engineering notes will be available over at https://ralimtek.com in the coming month.
