Apple iPhone X dock for IKEA RÄLLEN wireless charger

I picked up my iPhone X on Friday morning, being second in line was a thrill. The IKEA RÄLLEN wireless charger caught my eye at €14.95, the cheapest option available. However, I wanted to position my iPhone upright next to my bed and on my desk instead of laying it flat on the charger. So, I decided to create one myself. Designed to be stable and solid yet quickly printable with minimal material usage, I printed it in PLA and wood, enjoying their look, feel, and finish. Both turned out great. I also designed the charger to sit centrally within the iPhone case, ensuring seamless charging even with a case like my Apple silicone case on. Initially, I didn't anticipate any issues until the prototype's charger was placed too low, which would actually work well for smaller iPhones like the 8; I'll post that design later. My next project is an Apple Watch dock that can be connected to this one, forming a modular solution with interchangeable choices between separate docks or a combined unit.
