Apple HomePod Mini Cable Manager/Organizer

The Apple HomePod Mini does not have a removable power supply cord so it cannot be shortened. In some installations, this leaves several feet of cord to deal with. I designed a container that will house the excess cord. The container hangs from the original Apple 20W Power Supply. The container and lid are threaded so the cord remains captured.

You can find a short video of the project here:

<oembed url="https://youtu.be/RAUvshphYzU"></oembed>

Print instructions

This is a simple, two-part print that requires no supports. Print the Main Cord Holder with the closed side against the printer bed. The overhangs on the holes for the cable printed perfectly on my MK3S without supports. Print the Cord Holder Lid upside down (threads up). I printed the lid on my Prusa Mini. I left approximately 1mm tolerance around the 20W Apple Power Supply so it shouldn't be a tight fit. I also left larger than normal tolerance on the threads. They came out perfect on my MK3S and Mini. I believe they should print fine on any decently tuned FDM printer. I printed both parts in Prusament Galaxy Black PLA at 0.15mm layer height. I used 4 perimeter walls but that is probably overkill.
