This is a replacement for the little cover that secures the ball in place for the Apple Desktop Bus II. It's almost identical to the original, with slightly longer flanges that lock it into position. Despite its imperfections, it works flawlessly. The original part boasts a very smooth polished surface where the ball makes contact; in contrast, the 3D printed part has a rougher texture straight from the printer. However, I haven't noticed any issues with the ball failing to roll, but sanding down or smoothing out the sloped inner ring might be worth considering, especially at a .1mm layer height where it's still relatively smooth for practical purposes. Please note that there are several versions of the ADB II mouse, each with a slightly different ball cover design. This one appears to be the original, featuring information stamped into plastic on the bottom. In contrast, later models (at least two I have) use stickers instead, and this door won't fit those designs.
