#studentdesignchallenge I designed an apple based pencil holder to keep a workspace clear. The apple has six 1/2 inch diameter pencil holes and a space on top for paperclips or other loose items. I also added a phone holder which caused some unbalance. The phone holder was on the very edge of the apple and when the phone was placed in the slot, the apple tipped. The apple became too top-heavy, so I had to design a base to go with so it would stand. If I were to redo this design I would probably find a way to balance the apple from the start.
