It's never too late to start saving money for the grandkids! So I created a clever 3D printed coin bank that they'll love! The innovative mechanism inside is based on the simple yet effective Hoeken design. This awesome project consists of 20 custom 3D printed parts and uses just one powerful gear motor and two small micro lever switches to make it work. As always, I double-checked my designs but still might have missed something, so if you need any help or clarification, feel free to ask - I'm happy to assist! I built this project using the advanced Autodesk Fusion 360 software, then sliced the design with Cura 3.2.1 and printed it out in high-quality PLA on both my trusty Ultimaker 2+ Extended and Ultimaker 3 Extended machines.
