All Apple Cinema Display power adapters fail. Best and cheapest solution is a standard 24V, 3A or more, adapter. I use a 24V 3.125A = 75W for my 23" Cinema Display. Open the original adapter and remove the connector that fits the display cable. This 3D print houses the original connector when used with a generic adapter. Works great. Just glue both peaces together.
