This scan fell short of expectations. The apple sat poised on a turntable, awaiting photo capture, bathed in soft daylight that streamed in through the window behind the camera lens. However, its slightly shiny surface and the incoming light created a persistent specular highlight that dominated one prominent area of the fruit's appearance in every single shot: This unflattering illumination setup, compounded by the unwanted glare from the apple's sheen, led to excessive noise on the mesh surface: In retrospect, employing masking techniques via 3DF Masquerade would have effectively blocked out the unwanted highlight. A well-designed lighting scheme would have been even more beneficial. Nonetheless, this experience serves as a valuable lesson for future endeavors!
