Apple 30-pin Dock Connector Cable Strain Relief
thingiverse
This is a new design for an Apple 30-pin dock connector cable strain relief born from KJ1I's innovative [strain relief](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3032085), which stood a bit too tall for the connector on my iPad 2's cable. I also wanted to add a protective flare for the cable. A few variations of the official dock connector cable have been created - if your white part is approximately 9 mm tall, then this strain relief should work seamlessly with you. Print both parts upright with a brim in place. If you enable bridging settings in Cura, you won't need any supports. Mine fits a little loose around the connector itself, so I added some tape to thicken it. You might have to print a few percent smaller to achieve a tighter fit - please share your results with me.
