Parts enable converting an old disk II 5-1/4" external floppy drive to house an Intel Mini Mac and have the drive function through a slot without issue. macfrontlift - This is a small strip of a precise size that fits under the black front facia, which was previously held by the drive's internal components. I filled it completely. macfrontdriveflsp - The slots fit snugly into the back of the drive flap to prevent it from falling out of its hinge. It normally attaches to the drive innards, but I only attached it partially. macfrontboardmount - This is a very specific size that holds the Mini Mac on top of the base so the CD drive slot aligns with the floppy slot. I secured the motherboard to this with silicone, and it printed at 40% fill. macfrontrear - Optional, as you'll need to cut off the rear aluminum plate to use it. This allows cables to pass through and the fan to vent, along with a cutout for a cheap eBay push button switch for power. I printed it at 25% fill. The mac mini LED wire can be spliced into the "in use" red LED in front of the drive and will work as expected. The Power switch wires connect to the rear switch for power and reset, making it self-contained. Please do not attempt this with working old drives! I obtained this one from a garden shed, where it was broken and rusty inside.
