This is for an APP 50 paintball hopper, designed to keep the lid from popping open and causing chaos. The narrow side is specifically engineered to interfere with the hinge, pushing the lid upwards and backwards while still making it easy to open. This clever design also helps to maintain a more circular shape of the hopper's mouth, which can become squished otherwise. Furthermore, the rise in the sides expertly lifts the center of the lid, creating a gentle bow upward. This solution has been thoroughly tested on a pump mag with significant blow back, proving its effectiveness.
