Apollo Service Command Module 3D model

This spacecraft served as a self-sufficient system, furnishing the thrust and vital support for astronauts within the command module and LEM during the lunar transport segment of the journey to and from the moon. I integrated a primary rocket engine capable of propelling the spacecraft out of Earth's or the Moon's orbit, while also providing directional control between the celestial bodies. Unfortunately, a critical failure in this service module resulted in an explosion on Apollo 13, necessitating an abort to the moon landing and an arduous, perilous effort to safely return the astronauts to Earth. This highly detailed model boasts a medium level of complexity, incorporates numerous geometric features, and showcases high-quality materials and textures. The model is constructed to exact scale specifications, allowing for simulation of the launch sequence and service module jettison processes. Furthermore, it will seamlessly integrate with our upcoming Saturn 1B and Saturn 5 rocket models.
