The Lunar Ascent Module design is courtesy of NASA, which offers numerous free 3D models of spacecraft. After simplifying and ensuring manifoldness using Meshlab and Netfabb's cloud service, these models require no support during printing, though the ascent module may need assistance with its largest overhang - simply snap off the supporting wall once printed. Ensure the service ring is securely attached to the service module for a realistic experience, while other attachments use pinpegs that work with a little grease for easy removal.
