Apollo Launch Pad for Micro Maxx Rockets This innovative launch pad adapter also serves as a display stand for your Micro Maxx. It's specifically designed for the Micro Maxx Saturn V, but works perfectly with the Space Shuttle. By "adapter," I mean the pad can slide down a typical 1/8" launch pad rod, allowing you to use it as the stand for the launch pad. There is an opening in the base for the engine exhaust to pass through the bottom. For display, simply insert the "display pin" into the tower boom (you can even add some filament for the lightning rod on top of the boom). For launch, lift the tower boom off the Micro Maxx rod and swing it to the side, just like a real launch profile. I use CA glue to attach the tower to the base.
