The command module stood proudly as a truncated cone (frustum) that stretched up to an impressive height of 10 feet 7 inches (3.23 m), with its base boasting a diameter of 12 feet 10 inches (3.91 m). At the front, two reaction control engines roared to life, while the docking tunnel connected seamlessly to other spacecraft. Meanwhile, the Earth Landing System's components hummed quietly in the background. Inside, the inner pressure vessel provided cozy crew accommodations, along with equipment bays that housed crucial controls and displays. Numerous spacecraft systems whirred away, working tirelessly behind the scenes. Further back, the aft compartment was a flurry of activity, containing 10 reaction control engines and their accompanying propellant tanks. Fresh water tanks stood at the ready, while CSM umbilical cables waited to spring into action.
