Apollo - Animal Crossing
thingiverse
The model is from Pocket Camp and was ripped by Centrixe, a huge thank you! I posed it, added a base and optimized it for printing. It prints in two pieces that need to be glued together at the end. Printing settings suggest using both a brim and supports. Printing at 0.12 mm resolution works best. To glue the pieces together, Locite super glue is used. Line up the base first, then the head once the base is dry. This allows for correction of any warping that may have occurred. Depending on how it's painted, the model could be Amelia or Avery or one of several eagles. If you'd like to paint it, spray with a primer first and then use acrylic craft paint. Cheap paint from Walmart works fine as long as it's thinned with water first. After painting, spraying Krylon Colormaxx Clear - Flat protects the paint. Edit 5/17/20: The neck feathers were fixed.
