We no longer present this iconic rocket that marked history. David R. Scott, James B. Irwin and Alfred M. Worden form the crew of Apollo 15, which was the first lunar mission to carry the Lunar Roving Vehicle. They launched on July 26, 1971, landed on July 30, 1971, and landed again on August 7, 1971. The command module is called Endeavour, and the lunar module is Falcon. This model is presented at a scale of 1/60th. It measures 1.82 meters high and weighs approximately 3 kilograms. Account 656 pieces are included in this download. The download is proposed in four packs to allow assembly step by step. Pack 1/4, stage S1C Pack 2/4, floor S2 Pack 3/4, the S4b floor Pack 4/4, the Apollo ship. Printing does not require any support. If necessary, supports are already provided. The recommended thickness of the first layer is 0.2mm. Layer heights can vary from 0.10 to 0.20 mm. For small parts, layers as thin as 0.05 mm may be chosen. In many cases, a brim will be necessary. Thin walls are 0.87 mm thick, equivalent to two nozzle passages in 0.4 mm. In this case, filling is maintained at 0% and only one perimeter is chosen. Twelve tubes of 3g will be necessary. The model can be built without painting anything. However, some suggestions for painting are included in the assembly instructions. If you prefer to paint all parts yourself, then some parts are available already assembled and ready to paint. Also available with pack 1 is the STL file of the complete rocket and an F1 engine to print it in one piece on a small scale. This model should bring as much joy as it does me to create and admire!
