API Master Test Kit is great, but balancing test tubes and keeping organized isn't so easy with what is provided. This stand sits on top of the existing test kit and lid, provides easy to read labeled stands for adding water, testing solution drops, waiting for reactions to take place, and provides a drying rack holding the tubes upside down to drip dry and stay clean. Store and dry your test tube caps as well. Original "Thing" checked most of the boxes: Tubes Holder Caps Holder Tubes Drier I didn't care about a card holder as I generally hold it up to the light anyway, it adds extra height/time/materials to the print, and the extra height gets in the way. Additionally printing the pegs vertically creates an inherent weakness in the structure. By separating the pegs into half you get a nice clean, strong print without the need for supports. A channel on the inside is sized to accept a strip of 1.75mm filament as a guide/core for gluing the halves in place, however I found by pressing the two halves into the square sockets, they hold together without issue. Pull the pegs out and drop them into the test kit box for easy storage. Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 20 Filament: NA PLA White Notes: 1 Full kit needs: 1x - API\_Tube\_Holder\_Version\_3\_LowPro.STL 12x - API_THV3_Half_Peg_Remix_core.stl Probably don't need 20% infill. If you plan to glue the peg halves together, I suggest you print 2 first so you can adjust the channel size if needed (step files available for download). I found the glue wasn't necessary and just push the halves into the base. Category: Hobby
