Aphrodite
thingiverse
Aphrodite, circa 360-340 BCE, originates from Cypriot workshops, specifically Provenance of Amathonte (Cyprus), excavated by Ed. Paridant. This limestone figurine boasts vibrant paintwork, now displayed at the Musée du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, Belgium, crafted with Autodesk's ReMake and ReCap Pro. This stunning female form adorns herself with numerous jewels, while extending her right hand to cradle a flower and her left hand to shelter a dove or pigeon. These motifs evoke the characteristics of offering bearers, mirroring neighboring sculptures. A turreted crown, typical of Middle Eastern influences, is shrouded in a veil, distinctly identifying Aphrodite as a deity, reflecting the island of Cyprus's deeply ingrained cult.
