A highly detailed STL model of Wattson's energy reader heirloom from Apex Legends. The model is broken into 28 pieces to guarantee as little support material needed as possible for 3d printing; Although there is a fully assembled model included. Assembly is relatively self explanatory, although assembly of the end of the pylon can be somewhat confusing. 'WHRailCap' sits at the end of the pylon. The 'WHHinge' pieces sit on either side of the cap, and are held in with the 'WHRailCapPin's. Alternatively, you may use M3 screws to hold the hinges in place. This allows for stiffer grip on the hinges, and movability. The 'WHHingeCup' sits in the groove of the hinge. Use M3 screws to hold the arms in place, or you may glue/epoxy them in place. From there, the 'WHCoilArm' sits inside the HingeCup. 'WHRailCapDome', and 'WHRailCapScrew' are decorative pieces intended to be printed in yellow/gold plastic and sit on top, and the front of the cap respectively. For the large pieces, I used the following settings: Layer Height: 0.20mm Support: No Print Speed: 100mm/s Infill: 10% For the smaller detail pieces: Layer Height: 0.12mm Support: No Print Speed: 25mm/s Infill: 100% Note: I used a raft for the WHCoilArms to guarantee build plate adhesion.
