Apex Camera Mount

Built this mount to securely attach my Runcam 5 (Orange) to my Apex frame. The primary objective was to design something rugged and durable enough to withstand potential impacts, ensuring the camera remains safely in place during intense crashes. Additionally, I aimed to create a mounting system that could be easily secured with the two velcro straps provided by the Runcam. To achieve this, I printed the mount as it appears in the slicer, using supports for added stability and 100% infill for maximum strength. Although it may make more sense to experiment with lighter infill patterns to minimize weight, the current design prioritizes durability above all else. Given that the Runcam Orange was engineered to be similar in size to the GoPro Session, I assume a GoPro Session camera would fit seamlessly within this mounting system as well.
