Aperture Science RaspberryPi Case
thingiverse
This is version 2 of my original case that got almost impossible to edit. (Version 1: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2320357) Update: Modified dimensions for easier printing. The case is designed after a computer you could find in the first game, paying close attention to its details and features. Three 30mm fans can be installed on the front of the case, with space for each one, and one additional 40mm fan can be mounted on the side panel for enhanced airflow. To minimize support material, I have divided the design into multiple components. Use your expertise to orient the parts that are optimized to print in a single direction, allowing you to achieve the best results possible. Most of the pieces are designed to print with the outside surface facing towards the build plate, ensuring a smooth and even finish. The front and back panels are specifically designed to be securely attached to the "case" part using a suitable adhesive. The side panel features small tabs that snap into place easily and a rounded bottom edge that allows it to flip down smoothly, adding an extra layer of convenience. At this point, the case remains untested, but I will upload pictures once I have successfully printed it.
