Apertura Telscope Bearing Shim
thingiverse
Update: You probably don't need these if you balance your scope better! I was using too much brake because my scope was bottom heavy. It should only take a little brake to give it friction. These shims are not needed if set up correctly. A simple shim for the bearing blocks on the Apertura AD8 dobsonian is easy to build. Built for an 8", but probably works on all of them, just slip them in once you have the tube in the mount and it will remove the wiggle the scope has on elevation while adjusting it. Pull them out before you try to take the tube out of the mount. Don't force them in, just push them in until you feel resistance.
