I have several of these APC PE76 surge protectors around the house and the dogs have a tendency to step on it and turn them off. I wanted to create a guard that would fit around the power button to stop it from being turned off. Slides snugly over the end of the power strip but can be easily pulled back to turn off/on. Both files should work, but v2 uses less filament, has some reinforcement on the top to help it not break if stepped on, and has a horizontal line so you can see the power LEDs of the power strip.
