The AH-64 Apache is a twin-engine, four-blade attack helicopter designed for the United States Army's Advanced Attack Helicopter program to replace the AH-1 Cobra. First flown on 30 September 1975, it features a nose-mounted sensor suite and night vision systems, and is armed with a 30mm M230 Chain Gun and AGM-114 Hellfire/ Hydra 70 rocket pods. The Apache boasts rotating upper and rear blades, pose controls for doors and wings, blade flex, and blade blur options. It also has rotatable tailwing, nose turret, and under-fuselage machine gun, as well as hidden/ shown left and right missile pods and racks. Two versions are provided - with or without missiles, which can be colorized to match the helicopter using material presets. Textures and decals include Desert Basic, Naval Camo, Green Camo, Grey Base, Stealth Mode, and more. Presets allow for hiding/ showing various features, and controlling aircraft levels in flight or landing mode. Compatible with DAZ Studio 4.9 or higher with Iray, the Apache is a versatile and well-equipped attack helicopter.
