Konnichi-Wa! I present to you the AP SENBAN, a quadcopter frame with an impressive wheelbase of 220 mm. The name SENBAN is Japanese for "rotating machine," making it a perfect fit for this dynamic device. Its design resembles that of a Yayuji throwing star, reminiscent of those used by famous ninja Sho Kosugi in his movies. My PETG-printed frame with 50% infill (excluding electronics but including nuts and screws) weighs a mere 106 g or 3.74 oz. The SENBAN consists of the following printable parts: - Bottom Plate - Arm x 4 - Top Plate - Tower Plate (optional) - Standoff Studs (M3) x 4 - FPV Camera Mount for Runcam Swift - LED Mount - Cover Plate You can also use aluminum standoff studs in place of the printed ones. Simply screw these parts together using: - 20 x flat head countersunk screws M3 x 12 mm - 12 x nuts M3 - 4 x flat head countersunk screws M3 x ? mm for the flight controller - 16 x rounded or socket head screws M3 x 8 mm for the brushless motors To mount the flight controller, four M3 countersunk screws are required. Their length depends on the construction of the tower and the flight controller. I used a MATEKSYS Flight Controller F405-CTR, which required four M3 x 12 mm countersunk screws. On top of this, you can then screw the other levels of the tower with nylon standoffs. If the SENBAN encounters damage, simply reprint the damaged parts and mount them again. Some essential electronics are needed: - 1 x flight controller board - 4 x ESC (12 - 30 A, depending on the selected motor) - 4 x Brushless motor (1806 - 2205 with 2300 kv) - 4 x propeller (5") - 1 x battery (3-4s) Additionally, you will need: - zip ties - 1 x velcro battery strap - 1 x transmitter (at least 6-channel) - 1 x receiver Optionally, you can add the following: - FPV camera and transmitter - LED strip (WS2812B RGB5050 LED) - Buzzer By the way: The SENBAN is not thrown from DOKO-NO-KAMAE but started from CHIZEN-NO-KAMAE. Ninpo Ikkan!
