This adapter enables you to release air from the Aoyue 486 Solder Smoke Absorber into a standard 4" dryer duct. Post-Printing Procedure The adapter plate attaches to the four screws protruding from the back of the absorber. Mine had about 2mm of screw threads exposed on the outside. The adapter consists of three components: an adapter plate, a funnel, and a retainer ring. These pieces fit together by friction or can be secured with glue or tape for added stability.
