The original barrel connector for my Aomway power lead was a piece of junk that consistently shorted out. I replaced it with 14 Ga. leads directly soldered to the board, which were then connected to the balance lead connector to form a new harness. This solution worked well until the negative lead became loose and caused shorts again. To rectify this issue, I resoldered the negative lead and created a strain relief out of TPU that could slide over the lead and secure it in place using the original barrel connector's cut-out. Since I had already soldered the wires to the board, I had to cut a slit in the strain relief to accommodate the wires. This solution works effectively, as the sandwich design securely locks the wires in place. A better approach would be to slide the wires into position before soldering them to the board.
