Aomway Commander Faceplate for smaller faces
thingiverse
I've had a problem with the Aomway Commanders, and it's been the faceplate being far too flat for my face. When I used a foam that was either too thin or too hard, I would get a significant amount of light leaking on the sides. The original foam is subpar, so when I upgraded to the NewBeeDrone foam for the Commanders, I had to design a new faceplate for it to function properly. Fortunately, the result turned out great. The NewBeeDrone foam is an excellent and affordable upgrade, well worth the investment. It's available at https://www.getfpv.com/newbeedrone-max-comfort-foam-cushion-aomway-commander.html I printed it on a stock Creality Ender 3 using black PLA. To get the best results, make sure to use "support roof" and "support floor". I recommend a layer height of 0.1mm, as there are some slight curves in the model that require small layers to look good. Use 10 perimeters to ensure it's solid. The Solidworks file is included if you'd like to edit anything.
