Cooling Fan Mount for Anytone AT-D578UV-Pro Print the design upside down onto the build plate. I employed Sainsmart Blue TPU material in this project. Infill percentage was set to 30%. The nozzle temperature was maintained at 220c, while the bed temperature was kept at a steady 60c. Printing speed was adjusted to 25mm/sec. The fan was turned off during the initial layer. After completing the first layer, the fan was set to operate at 70% capacity. Retraction was enabled for this print job. This mount allows you to install a 120 mm computer case fan on top of the Anytone 578 radio in either pull or push orientation. My setup is configured to draw heat away from the heat sink, which has proven effective. To secure the fan in place, four (4) screws measuring 3mm x 30mm are required. The fan mount holes are designed to firmly grip the screws and provide a stable attachment point for the fan. No nuts are necessary for this installation. The "legs" of the mount are press-fit into the heat sink fins on the Anytone 578, allowing for flexible installation options. This design enables you to run the mount in a car if the radio is mounted horizontally. The mount securely grips the heat sink, enabling me to lift the radio off my desk by gripping only the fan. However, please note that this mount does not have any additional attachment points, and its use in a car is at your discretion. My Anytone 578 base unit sits on my desk.
