This adapter lets you attach various tools and objects to your lathe's 0XA Quick Change Toolpost, making it possible to create vertical or diagonal slots and holes that wouldn't be feasible otherwise with a standard lathe setup. You can use this adapter in different ways: for example, you can mount a Micrometer using the Horizontal 1/4-20 option. Alternatively, you can screw in a Dremel support or go with the Vertical 1/4-20 configuration. If none of these options work for you, there's also a Generic base to fall back on. One of the neat features of this adapter is that you can customize it by combining the generic plate (included as Lathe_0XA.stl) with your own custom object mount using boolean joining in 3D Builder. If you have both STL files, this process is relatively straightforward. It's worth noting that this adapter was designed specifically for use with the 250-000 tool-post (0XA), which is a common setup found on many mini-lathes, including those from Harborfreight and LittleMachineShop. Important safety note: even though 3D printed parts can be durable in general, they do have limitations when it comes to withstanding mechanical stress. When using these adapters, make sure you take proper precautions to protect yourself and others from potential hazards, especially when the lathe is spinning.
