Anysize paint panels Print panels that matches your printer size or your print collection. Then stitch them together to anySize you want. Add feet or hang the panels on the wall using. The panels are tested using: Army painter Vallejo AK Reaper All 4 paint brands have a nice snug fit, due to some clever design of the support cylinders :-) Sizes The trays comes in all combinations derived from width from 1 to 10 paints and height 1 to 10 paints. Please be aware taht due to angeling, these are not rotational symetric. Hense if you print a Width10, Height 2, it cannot be converted to a Width2, Height10. You will need to print a new panel. On my printer I can maximum print a panel of size Width 7, Height 6. This tray holds 42 paints, with only 3 of these, I can then hold above 120 paints. The smallest Width1, Height1 has the following dimentions: 47,33,30 [mm] The biggest Width10, Height10 has the following dimentions: 307,367,30 [mm] If someone needs even bigger panels, let me know and I will generate them. Clearance The panels are stitch together using an interference fit. For each panel size there are several versions with different clerance. It is recommended to start with the files containing *_Clearance_0.stl. These files does not have zero clearance. They represent the clerance used by the designer. if this is too loose, pick files with negative numbers. If the files are too tight, pick files with possitive numbers. As the connection "part" is rather complex, then numbers cannot be interpreted in an easy way, but if you need an indication the number could be intrepreted as milimeter difference from the designer prefered. One extra thingto be aware of, if you print a tiny Width1_Height1 as a test for clearance, please be aware, that a single connection needs to be very loose to provide a nice fit on a 7 stretch connector. Stitching Initially, I designed these panel to be able to stich together freely, however opserving the the interface connector was not symetrical and naturally only needed on the outer edges of the panel, I have chosen to break this design paradigm slightly. Below the two limitations are described. All "rows" of panels needs to have same height. You are allowed to rows of different heights, but within a row all panels should be same height All "Collums" of panels needs to have same width. You are allowed to columns of different widths, but within a column all panels should be same width. The reson to introduce this defect, is a reduction of total width and height on approximately 10%, this means I can print Width7, Height 6 on my printer. Without this "defect" I could only print width6, Height5. The difference is a panel containing 42 paints vs 30. Printing Due to the design of making the panel "solid" with protruding cylinders, the panels are extremely rigdid. They require very little infil - only whats needed to support the "front" surface. My test prints have been printed using 10% lightnig infill. All files does not require support if printed in the orientation in the files. The wallmounts and feet, should have "propper" infills. Dont buys these, unless you really want. People that have followed me since my last Kickstarter knows, that my personal preference for storing paints are my Stackable paint trays, https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-stackable-paint-trays-display-trays-and-utility-trays-255888 They are in my opinion superior to these panels. I have created these because some backers have requested me to create a solution like this. I also believe there are plenty of free version of very similar design avalible - please check them out first! - The reason to buy mine are: High Modularity Tested design Support (I usually is able to help or add or modify, my files if issues arise)
