Update 9-21-2021: I recieved a comment mentioning the orientation of the part, print it vertically on-end. Hope that clears any confusion. I will also soon be updating this for zip-ties to clamp all the way down into the holder arm. Tired of that spool holder on your new Vyper constantly getting in the way? I am; it's right in the path of my bedroom door. This new spool holder mount is a basic add-on to let you install the spool holder on the top rail of your Vyper, similar to an Ender 3. Print at any layer height, 75%+ infill, and all other settings based on your filament. I used Overture matte black PLA with good results. It's very simple, just glue it to the bottom of your spool holder (for easy of assembly, it's not going to hold the entire thing) then set it on the top rail and the 3 guides will keep it from sliding off. Then run 2 larger-sized zip ties through the spool holder holes, then down through the notches on either side. Tighten and trim after you slide the holder wherever you'd like along the top rail of the printer. I feel this is one of the only major upgrades this printer will need because the side-mounted spool holder takes up so much space and the printer has been awesome so far. Unfortunately Thingiverse wouldn't allow me to upload the final assembly photos even after turning my resolution as far down as it could. It fits amazingly and functions perfectly. Another tip is to run an Ender 3 build plate, or similar less-rough one because the factory one destroys the parts being made, especially TPU.
