Anycubic Predator - Rod Spring Holder
thingiverse
These are simple hooks that attach to springs on the Predator Rods, designed to minimize play in the rods. It's recommended to secure these hooks directly to the base of the ball joint, which is typically made of metal. Do not attach them to the arms. The springs I used were sourced from Amazon and had the following dimensions: 36.5 mm in length, a diameter of 25 mm, and a ring diameter of 5 mm. Update: Comparison photos are now available, showcasing the same model before and after the modification. The prints were made at a speed of 90 mm per second. Update 2: I've modified the holders to make them longer, which has eliminated any movement along the rods. This allows for greater clearance between the springs or rubber bands and the edges of the rod.
