Anycubic Predator Full Assembly model =============================== Description ------------- This is a full CAD design of the Anycubic Predator motion system. I took on the challenge of designing it from scratch, as I couldn't find any existing designs to build upon. Initially, this was only supposed to be a tower extrusion project, but things quickly escalated. All essential measurements are carefully calculated and verified using vernier calipers or sourced directly from CAD drawings provided. Components ------------ The entire motion system is meticulously modeled, including: - Tower extrusions - Tower carriages - Delta arms - Delta effector - Stepper motor assembly - Idler and tension assemblies I have successfully implemented the delta kinematics within the Fusion 360 design, allowing each tower carriage to move freely while the effector accurately tracks the positions of the A, B, and C tower carriages. Software used ----------------- All design work, assembly, and rendering were performed in Fusion 360. File formats -------------- The following file formats are made available: - f3z - A Fusion 360 archive containing the assembly and all parts as separate components. - step - A Fusion 360 design with all components within the master assembly. - skp - A SketchUp design containing all components within the master assembly. - stl - Three versions, two medium detail and one low detail. These can be used to enhance your slicer. Licensing ------------- This design is published under the Creative Commons Attribution license. You may use any of the data provided for any purpose as long as you give credit to myself and those mentioned below. Changelog -------------- 06 Dec 2019: Initial release 07 Dec 2019: Updated STL's with a -50mm height offset for machine models in slicers 15 June 2020: Model updated, corrected V-slot to T-slot. Also uploaded SketchUp file.
