Anycubic Predator D Raspberry Pi mount
thingiverse
I've used this design on multiple printer projects because it's a straightforward, uncomplicated case with solid mounting lugs and securely holds the Pi while providing full access to all necessary slots and ports required by Octoprint. My latest acquisition was an Anycubic Predator D, which boasts proprietary castings/extrusions for its main frame. I'm hesitant to drill holes into it. The electronics are contained in a steel enclosure at the top of the printer, leaving enough space inside for the Raspberry Pi. However, the additional heat generated by the Pi became a concern, and I worried that the steel enclosure might impede wifi reception. To address these issues, I chose to mount the Pi outside. This remix includes some new countersunk holes in the case's base, which align with the hexagonal punched holes of the printer's grille. A frame fits inside the electronics housing, holding 4 M3 nuts, while the base is screwed into place using 4 M3 x 8mm screws. You can choose from three different top cover designs, all included in this remix - the original author's 0110-M-P designs. P.S. One of the photos shows a setup for a 30mm fan, which has yet to be installed.
