Remix for LED ring attaches directly to effector plate, eliminating the need for magnet mounting screws. This design provides slightly more clearance and elevates the LED by a bit. Note that printing with flexible filaments like TPU allows for use of the original model without inserts. However, when using brittle materials such as PLA, it's recommended to print the version with inserts and press them flush into the tabs. The inserts enhance tab strength due to better layer alignment in this orientation. Regardless of the chosen model, pay attention to the notch on the ring that indicates LED wire location, guiding them out on the left side of the hotend fan. A simple mount for the 24 to 12 VDC converter module is also included.
