Anycubic Predator Carriage Adapters for Haydn Huntley's MagBall Arms Modified
thingiverse
This is a remix of the carriage adapter created by Haydn Huntley for the Anycubic Predator THANKYOU Hayden for a great design !! Please look at his design for instructions and effector adapters you will need. I also recommend checking out my modifications to make sure they work with your specific machine. I encountered an issue when trying to install the stock metal sensor brackets on my Predator - they were slightly too short. To fix this, I added 2.5 mm to the top of the bracket to match the original design. This adjustment ensures that the sensor is properly aligned and functions as intended. Looking at the very top of the bracket, you'll notice that the tops are even now. The picture shows three examples: the original design on the far left, my modified version in the middle, and the stock bracket on the far right. I created this remix to help those who want to use metal sensor bars while still maintaining a smooth printing experience. During the process, I made a few additional adjustments to improve the overall design. The result is a more efficient and reliable carriage adapter. The original design from Hayden Huntley will still work well once printed with a plastic blade. However, I found that the metal blades didn't have enough distance on my machine. This is why I recommend sticking with the stock plastic sensor blade - it's a tried-and-true solution that works perfectly. I also made some minor tweaks to enhance the design. The screw hole is now slightly smaller for better grip on the springs, and there's a slight recess for added room if needed. Overall, this remix should provide a more seamless printing experience with your Anycubic Predator.
