Anycubic Photon - Non invasive fume extraction system
cults3d
This is a system to extract fumes from an Anycubic Photon printer. Whereas other devices replace existing panels to fit, this design uses magnets to attach to the rear of the printer over the top of the rear vents, obviating the need to remove any printer parts which may affect warranties. It also makes the system very easy to attach and remove. It simply clips on and pulls off. The adapter uses 5mm cube neodymium magnets. It also incorporates flexible magnet mounts to allow for different magnet strengths and weights of adapter and pipes. The system connects to a standard 100mm pipe and any bathroom extractor system with an in-line fan can be used. I have also included models for a system to pass through a narrow door or window in case that is helpful. It's what I'm using here, so have included it for you to use too. The magnets are simply glued in with epoxy. Start with a few and add more if the adapter seems loose. As you can see, I'm using 10 without any problem, but you can go to as high as 22. Don't use too many, or you won't get it off the printer! The adapter locates over the two screws above the vent and around the power socket. I'm using elastic (hair) bands to hold the pipes to the adapter and there is a groove to accommodate this. You could use normal cable ties instead, if you'd prefer. NB - The dimensions of the main extraction cover for the Photon are approx 162 x 122 x 84 mm
