AnyCubic Photon Mini Resin Tray

Resin costs are high, making each use feel like a luxury. When preparing for a print, I require a significant amount of resin to achieve the desired level in my tank. Unfortunately, leftover resin is unusable if there's only a small amount remaining in the bottle. To utilize every last drop, I either add new resin or mix it with fresh stock from another bottle. To minimize waste and optimize leftover resin use, I created a compact resin tray that allows me to print smaller parts with ease. The build plate measures 56 x 76mm, providing ample space for my projects. For the FEP (Flexible Polyimide Film) frame, I sourced the material from fepshop.com. To assemble it, I simply need one standard-sized sheet of AnyCubic. By placing the FEP between two parts and screwing them together, I achieve a smooth, straight film. The screws required for mounting the knob are M6 standard, while the alan screws used for the build plate clamp and FEP frame measure M2.5 x 6mm and M2.5 x 10mm respectively. This project is ongoing, with some components requiring improvement. Specifically, I'm struggling to get resin to stick to my 3D-printed materials, which has led me to redesign the build plate using an aluminum insert. Currently, the tray is functional, but the build plate needs refinement. The parts included in this design are: * Feb frame parts (feb1_v1 & feb_2_v1) * Resin tray v2 * Clamp for securing the upper build plate on the Z-axis * Build plate upper and lower components (which require re-creation) * Knob for locking the clamp in place * Contra-moer, an inner nut for the build plate * Vulstuk, a component used to align the resin tray with the LCD *** Update *** I've successfully printed a part using my updated build plate, which features an aluminum insert measuring approximately 50mm x 50mm. While I'm pleased with this achievement, I believe there's room for improvement in designing a more robust resin vat. The tension on the FEP has caused warping issues with smaller prints, and I need to create a funnel with a maximum resin fill indicator to prevent excess resin from overflowing. More updates will follow as I continue to refine my design...
