Anycubic Photon 80mm fan + funnel
thingiverse
The internal 50mm fan falls short when it comes to minimizing odor buildup. To address this issue, I designed a funnel that connects both the standard 50mm fan and an external 80mm fan. This setup also allows for testing various filter materials and cartridges. The cartridge features a simple "slide on" design. Each component requires support material but can be printed using a standard single-nozzle printer, such as a Prusa model. To assemble this system, you will need: 4 M3 brass inserts to secure the thread or adapt the design to use hex nuts 4 M3 screws for mounting the adapter plate, fan, and mounting plate Removing the internal metal filter cartridge is the first step. Next, mount my funnel design using 2 screws – even though there are 4 holes available. Due to its size, the funnel must be installed from the bottom rather than the back of the printer. Feel free to experiment with your own filter materials or design a custom filter cartridge. Edited on December 11, 2019: I added a funneled connection for a 100mm hose instead of the standard filter cartridge. A tip: use a sharp 2mm screwdriver to remove support material from the "slide on" slots – it works like a charm.
