My stock knob broke in normal use on my Mono X, so I figured it may be a common thing lol.Crack the rest of the bolt out of your oem knob that you broke, and press it into this new one. Use of a vice helps a lot. 2 M3 bolts to contain the bolt, but I've been using it for months and it's entirely solid, so they probably aren't necessary.
