Anycubic MegaX Bracket for Filament Spool Roller fit Mega X
thingiverse
Found a fantastic bracket to hold the roller/bearing that makes it easy to roll filament spools. Unfortunately, it is designed for the i3Mega, which has a different frame size than the Mega X. One side of the frame upright matches the i3, but the other side does not, and the original design by @libertyprime04 is too short on that front-facing side. I modified the design to extend it just the right amount to snap it into place perfectly. If it doesn't fit or is loose, you might need to drill holes for an M bolt (used to hold the OEM spool holder). The bracket was printed at 0.2 resolution with 60% infill on my MegaX using Anycubic PLA filament, and it took about 6 hours with my stock 0.4 nozzle. The roller uses high-quality 608zz ball bearings from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DZDLB3N/. The design was created by @HugoHuge on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3020026. I printed three items using this design: FilHoldGuide, FilHoldRoller, and PlasticBearing X2 (temporarily replacing the metal ball bearings until they arrive from Amazon). I modified the i3 Mega "Ultimate" bracket by @libertyprime04 to make it compatible with the Mega X - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4214315. This should be helpful for anyone with a newer Anycubic Mega X printer.
