Anycubic Mega X After a short time (2 months), I experienced a cable break in the hotend cable on my Mega-S. Therefore, I designed a cable chain to prevent excessive bending of the cables. The foundation for this cable chain is the "Std Range Cable Chain Link" design from ayourk@gmail.com created using Tinkercad. From this design, I printed 30 individual elements and created a holder for the hotend as well as an additional holder adjacent to the extruder. Furthermore, I designed another holder for the Teflon tube that is secured at the hotend holder. When printing larger objects, the Teflon tube, which guides the filament, was occasionally pressed against the upper frame. The Teflon holder pushes the tube backward. I modified two elements of the chain by cutting off a portion to allow for better flexibility in both directions; immediately adjacent to the hotend anchor and at the second-to-last element near the extruder holder. For the extruder holder, I drilled 2 holes (3.5 mm) and then expanded them to a 4 mm threaded hole to securely fasten it with two 4 mm screws. Now, the hotend cable is no longer bent excessively when positioned at maximum left or right angles.
