Anycubic Mega X direct drive conversion
thingiverse
Easy design to convert an Anycubic Mega X to a direct drive for use with softer materials. Designed to be used with the upgrade Bondtech LGX Extruder AND Bondtech LGX Shortcut Copperhead printhead and two 40mm x 40mm x 10mm fans (exhaust mounted internally, supply side mounted externally). https://www.bondtech.se/product/lgx-large-gears-extruder/ https://www.bondtech.se/product/bondtech-lgx-shortcut-copperhead-printhead/ Other than some M3 bolts (and nuts), there would be no additional hardware needed. Bypass the bowden extruder, remove factory carriage and hotend. I suggest a new mounting of the filament spool on the top rail. Second file is a quickly designed shim to help keep circuit board in place (I put a small screw in it to hold it snug).
