Anycubic Mega-S Spool/Tool Holders

Anycubic Mega-S Spool/Tool Holders

The spool holder that comes with the Mega-S is a nice touch, but I have to say I'm not thrilled about where it's mounted. I envisioned it sitting high and out of my way, making my workspace feel more organized. I aimed for a design that's both rigid and visually appealing. One feature I was particularly excited about was the small contact patch on the spool holder, which allows for smooth spinning action. Having a scrap bin on my desk is essential for storing leftover pieces like supports, rafts, and brims. To stay consistent with the style of the spool and tool holders, I decided to create a matching bin that would fit in seamlessly with the rest of the setup. To print these holders successfully, place them face down on the build plate, with the bins standing upright. This should eliminate the need for any additional supports. As someone who prints exclusively on PEI, I didn't require a brim or raft on my own prints, but your results may vary depending on your specific setup and preferences.
