Anycubic Mega-S Hotend LED Cover Fan Duct Half-Circle
thingiverse
I designed a complete Hotend Cover featuring half-circle print cooling and a mount for an LED strip. It fits the original Anycubic "BOOSFAN JD4512M12" fan and any 40 x 10 mm fan used for extruder cooling, which in my case is the Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX. The Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX fan operates at 12V, not 5V. You can find it on Amazon DE at https://amzn.to/2JAwddV, on Amazon UK at https://amzn.to/2JkP0v8, or on Amazon US at https://amzn.to/2XzyArq. Although the Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX is a bit pricey, it's quiet and boasts an MTBF of 150.000+ hours with a maximum decibel rating of 17.9 dB(A). By the way, I printed the Hotend Cover with PLA and added structural reinforcements to prevent fan duct bending. Without these additions, the right lower fan duct part started to sag, but with them, it works perfectly. Fingers crossed that it lasts long.
